Not so long ago, my uncle, Sparky, decided to reunite his childhood baseball team, the Combines, and head to Vegas to see if they could still kick-ass the way they did 30 years ago.
They didn't.
But like a dog with a porcupine, the Combines decided to give it another shot, only this time they mean business. This time out, each Combine wants to prove that despite advancing age, they've still "got it".
"Glory Days" is the story of that trip to Las Vegas,
Told through the eyes of team manager Sparky, "Glory Days" brings you into the Combines’ dugout for the emotional ups and downs of the entire tournament, told in 4 episodes in the style of the highly acclaimed “24/7” and “Hard-knocks” franchises.
The series is a nostalgic story about acceptance, making baseball relatable, even to those who know little about the sport, while embracing the fact that to these guys, this tournament is about more than just playing ball.
